Why

Minimalism for a good life: We have too much, but are not good at recognizing when enough is enough. Striving for more made evolutionary sense, but in some areas of life we act against human nature.
For a good life we need safety and security. Material and financial security are important, but the pressure is increasing due to rising rents and high demands on apartments and houses.

Minimalism means limiting yourself to the essentials in order to achieve the greatest possible security. This drives the project.

The barn house
In 2019 I built a house with Marius Bell (carpenter and architect) in Bertikow (Uckermark). The “Barn house by the lake”. A holiday home was built there over 2.5 years, in which I was involved in all phases of production.
